Core belief
By using modern image and video formats, server to client compression, and content delivery networks we can make our websites faster than ever before.
How we do it
We use WEBP and WEBM file formats (which are smaller than JPG or MP4) where possible, and try to serve any JS or CSS libraries over CDN. By brining our content closer to you, we're reducing your load times.
The Internet Impact and other static websites we create are also hosted on CloudFlare, so there's always a cache of the site in a server closer to your computer.
Any sites that aren't static, like Portal or WhatAccomm are hosted in our main datacentre which uses Litespeed Web Servers. These servers can load PHP 1.3X faster than nginx servers, and static files are loaded 6X than nginx servers on HTTP/2.
